always wears a smile wherever he goes.

- Throws different kinds of weapons up in the air, leaps up and fires it at the enemies. Then dives off with a slash, and then fires up a huge beam towards the enemies blasting him off back to his position.

Head back and he’ll ask you to turn it into data. To do that, simply go back to Babylon City, and access the “data transfer” device. After that, talk again to Dan and he’ll make you one for 500,000gc

Background: Neon’s real name was Austell, hidden to public for security purposes, due to his involvement in the Ranger business since junior-high. His family and friends doesn’t know about it, only his fellow rangers and his step-sister do. In the past, he stumbled upon a waste barrel near an old lake, sooner he found out that, the waste was a chemical called “Zeta”. This in turn made him gained magic abilities. He enjoys making friends but is a little shy at first. He has a huge collection of pets from everywhere and enjoys inventing stuffs.

Personality: His first impression is always mysterious, but beneath that lays a gentle and kind person. He easily gives morale to the party due to his kindred spirit. He might be a little shy at first but fun to be with was you know him. He might be sometimes annoying which in turn lowers down the happiness level of all party members due to some events. But most of the time, his happy and keeps the happiness level of the party at the top.

How To Get This Character: Finding him is a pain since he travels from town to town near Celadon City. There’s a pattern to it to be decode by some NPC’s. Once found, talk to him and he’ll ask you to take him to the ruins of Babylon City to find an ancient device called the “data transformer” his step-sister tags along too. Once finished, he’ll tell you where he lives and you can recruit/get him there. You could also recruit/get his step-sister there.

Character Bonuses:
+25% Faster learning rate to party when there’s a device or book in his inventory
-5% Decrease delay time for Limit Break to party
-10% Decrease in his MATK
+10% Resistance to all elements
+2% Shared of healed HP to party
+20% Increase to HP and MP if a pet is around
+15% Damage received from female monsters
+20% Damage recoil to himself for every use of skill

Recommended Character Use: Neon’s basically a balanced fighter/caster with decent stats to prove it. He’s good for front or back row position since he has a long ranged of attack. Although he’s both fighter and caster, it’s to leave him as an attacker due to his recoil effect. He has a wide selection of skills to learn and share to the party for extra support.

To Take Or Not To Take: It depends really on how you use him. He has balanced stats and has a nice effect on sharing his known skills to others. Plus his decrease in delay time for a Limit Break is a handful. His happiness level is easy raise; just allow him in the party and make him do the last strike in two battles and it’s up. Plus the effect of his happiness level to the party makes him worthwhile.

His recoil damage is annoying plus his decrease in MATK is a huge setback in using his skills. The monster gender of the game and his weakness to female monsters is down right dumbfounding. His balanced stats also make it hard for him to be as efficient as others do. Also his Special Items and his last two skills that defy his recoil are very hard to get and time consuming.

On the good the side, his Gadget Vehicle makes it easier for travel and a good boost to those impatient players. His sharing of healed HP is a great asset on saving money and makes it cheap in buying healing items, leaving status recovery and status boosts items for you to buy. He’s easy to use and has good pros and cons for you to decide easily (I hope).

Special Appearances:
- As the main character sets off on his/her journey, you’ll bump into him as you exit the town. He’ll say sorry many times and rushes off to somewhere.
- When in party, upon entering the last dungeon that would serves as a final test for your last mission, he’ll leave the party saying he senses something big. He’ll then reappear to fight you also to serves as test.
- When in party, before fighting the second to the last boss, he’ll leave the party to save you time from the monsters who kept pouring in. After defeating the boss you’ll encounter him before the room of the last boss joining back and healing the party.
